Over the last two weeks as the start of the American football season has started. \u00a0I and my neighbor, both of us have daughters playing soccer, and we are watching a game or two a week of soccer. \u00a0We have noticed how long American football takes. \u00a0We are used to watching games where there are only commercials during the Half. \u00a0The rest of the game is all action.<\/p>\n
I completely understand the lust for advertising revenue that television stations need the revenue. \u00a0American football seems to be the perfect scenario for advertisers. \u00a0However, with DVRs I believe ad effectiveness is going down. \u00a0I know I don’t watch any of them. \u00a0I do however notice the electonic and painted advertising throughout the game on the sidelines of the soccer game.<\/p>\n
I am just happy we get to see as much soccer as we do in the US now. \u00a0I wonder if I would have been able to watch a bunch of soccer when I was younger I would have wanted to play more.<\/p>\n
