I have really enjoyed the last couple weeks while meeting a bunch of new people and getting to know some friends better.\u00a0\u00a0 I am amazed at how many people are doing cool things.\u00a0\u00a0 I wish I had more time to chat with people.\u00a0 It’s always fun.<\/p>\n
Today I attended a lunch where Jeff Kent, of MLB fame spoke. I am such a name dropper.\u00a0 I didn’t know before today he was LDS.\u00a0\u00a0 He said that many players, really good players, were using steroids and that he had to work really hard to compete.\u00a0 He now own several motorcycle dealerships. He really seemed just like a regular guy.\u00a0 It was cool because his wife was there and she was very down to earth and nice.<\/p>\n
I met with a lady today that consults no profit groups.\u00a0 She helps them find and focus on their core mission and helps people and organizations with their philanthropy.\u00a0 Very good very honest lady.\u00a0 I hope I can refer business to her in the future.<\/p>\n
On a funny note.\u00a0 Our 6 year old son is very good a cleaning up his toys.\u00a0 He said to Amanda yesterday “Look I cleaned up with out permission.”\u00a0 very cute.\u00a0 He can be a handful at times.\u00a0 But he is always more than willing to help with housework, cooking and cleaning.\u00a0 Lucky parents are we.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
