We’ll it’s upon us. The economic downturn of our generation.\u00a0 As with every economic event there are opportunities.<\/p>\n
The first thing we need to remember money is not happiness.\u00a0 Most of the serious happy people I know don’t have much.\u00a0 And most of the ultra-wealthy I know, people that are worth more than 10 million dollars, are pretty miserable.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Even a bunch of people I know that are making over $250,000 a year are not happy either.<\/p>\n
If you are not happy I have advice for that too.\u00a0 But not here<\/p>\n
If you have a lot of money there are so many bargains.\u00a0 I’m not a licensed stock guy or real estate guy so any advise I give on particular stocks or property don’t hold any weight.\u00a0 And I believe if you are going to put any money in Stocks you are looking at 5 to 10 years before you are really going to make your money.\u00a0 None of the options I see for investing money are short term.\u00a0 This is not the time to save.\u00a0 This is the time to spend on investments for the future.\u00a0 Just look at the housing market.\u00a0 Almost everthing is down.<\/p>\n
For those of you like me with very little money, do what you can.\u00a0 Invest $50 a month.\u00a0 Learn how to invest.\u00a0 Lots of the those licensed guys have free advice too.<\/p>\n
But I do have advice for those of you who can’t pay all their bills, or all the credit cards you maxed out while you thought the stock bubble,\u00a0 housing bubble, oil bubble or what ever other economic bubble you thought would last for ever burst and left you with a bunch of unsecured debt.<\/p>\n
Most Creditors are willing to make deals, but you need to know how to get them to deal.<\/p>\n
