One thing that I learned today is that the whole process of manufaturing microchips on silicon wafers is done in a vacuum.\u00a0 Because everything is so small that free molecules interfere in the process.\u00a0 Charles Next door neighbor here in Austin, Spencer.\u00a0 Works in his family business selling the pumps that create the vacuum for this manufacturing.\u00a0 He also said that space has a better vacuum than we can create here on earth.\u00a0 When space travel become cheaper chips will be manufactured in space.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
