Sunday was fast Sunday and I ate too much Halloween candy and it gave me some really bad pains that started about 2:30 AM Monday morning. I took 5 doses of Pepto Bismal and that didn’t seem to help. between the pain and lack of sleep, I stayed home and slept. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
That sort of thing puts me behind and then my new attempt to journal suffers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the things that prompted me to eat more candy than I should is: we are starting a health challenge at work that we can get paid for if we complete. One of the things in the challenge is I have to accumulate 10 days a month with less than 20 grams of added sugar. Being irrational I am thinking I can game the system and eat a bunch one day. I paid the price for the poor food intake management. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I like also that the health challenge requires 10 days of 30 minutes of exercise. That one will be easy for me. I was able to run for 30 minutes yesterday on a treadmill. I’ve run for longer on the road, however, it still felt good. I swam for 30 minutes today. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
While swimming Travis Stock joined me in the pool. I haven’t seen or talked to him since April. It was good to see him there. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
