Snow in Austin

December 10, 2008 by D. Gardner Leave a Comment

Yesterday the weather got crazy in Austin.  It started out as a fairly warm day.  The humidity level was up and so the 77 degrees farenhit felt like summer.  However, by 1:00pm the wind was blowing and the grey cloud cover started moving in.  By 5:00PM the wind had become pretty cold and was probably in the 40’s.  Then by about 11pm it was snowing.

This morning the streets were dry but there were traces of snow on the roof tops, parked cars and tree branches.  I just glad it didn’t get any worse.  I am sure the kids are going to be crazy this morning at school.  I know they are hoping for more, and believing it’s going to happen.
