Our six-year-old daughter misunderstood the word instruction at some point, so now she says when we get a new game or appliance “Read the destructions!” It’s funny and because we laugh she has stuck with it.
Back in November, I wanted to start doing more journal entries. Starting off the new year I am not doing so well at regularity. Maybe I am expecting too much of myself and should keep these things short or maybe I should put a limit on the time I spend writing so I will make it easier to keep the commitment.
I know it’s about systems. I listened to recently about stories talked about the hero’s journey and broke it down into some simple steps. I would like to start exploring that framework. Maybe, I’ll give that a try later today. Right now I’ve got to go run a snowblower. Our house in Holladay got enough snow last night to justify cranking that thing up.
