History

I was born in the last few days of the 1960’s and don’t remember much about that decade.

The 1970’s were a bit hazy for me, a few memories of Northern Utah, Phoenix Az, and Northern Arizona.  I got a pretty cool scar on my face in that decade.  I saw Star Wars in a theater.   We moved more than a couple of times.  My dad, Marvin Gardner, taught School and then he started being a blacksmith.

Well, the 1980’s were just cool for me.  They will get there own Page.

I first remember the magic of living in Mesa Arizona where it was hot and I was five. I remember the smell of citrus trees. I remember going to pioneer park; swinging on the swings, climbing in the jet, and spinning on the merry go rounds.

Then there was the magic of Pine Arizona, It was as if me and Mike(my brother) were Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Fin. Every day was an adventure every day we were explorers. We had great friends, Matt and Vince Farmusa.

We then moved to Utah.
There was some Magic there. We First lived on Holiday. Some of the magic I remember from there was Robby Dunfield picking me to be on his baseball team. The Church of Jesus Christ changed to the three-hour block program and got rid of Primary during the week. That was magic.
Durning this time we went to California and Disneyland for the first time. This was the beginning of my affinity for Disney and the Magic Walt created, the magic continues to this day for me. I believe Disneyland and Disney World will be in Heaven.
We moved out to 5400 south and We attended Calvin Smith. I had a great friend from my ward Named Jimmy Bramble. He was fun. I also had my first crush on a girl named Heather Smith.

We then moved to Southern California
Living in California was magic, the beach, fog, Disney, mist rain. It was also a dramatic culture shock. I learned how to use the word “dude”. I still dream of being able to live in Southern California some day.

Moving to Sacramento
Sacramento was magic, stake dances, good friends, scouting, girls, kissing, music, drivers license, swimming, water polo, volleyball, high school, movies, growing up, Santa Cruz and many other things added to the magic of Sacramento.
